For a nation, infrastructure is pivotal in promoting economic growth, enhancing social well-being, and supporting sustainable development. Nonetheless, infrastructure globally faces significant challenges due to the increasing frequency and intensity of natural disasters, climate change, population growth, and rapid urbanization. As a result, it is crucial to explore; address these challenges, share experiences, ideas and knowledge, create synergies; seek cooperation opportunities and reach the larger community through a conference among different organizations. 

Therefore, EIABC, AAU, Ethiopia and Bauhaus University of Weimar (BUW), Germany are planning to host a joint international conference under a theme; Building a Resilient Infrastructure. The purpose of this international conference is to convene experts, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to investigate innovative approaches, best practices and collaborative solutions to construct a resilient infrastructure and ensure sustainable development for future generations.
